Why we do this.

We believe in vibe coders.

We believe vibe coders can give the world something valuable. They deserve the tools to work professionally — and, in the end, to be taken seriously.

That matters now: by 2030 an estimated ~300 million people will build solutions for the world — with AI.

May we introduce: the new

Projection. Starting point: by July 2025, 20 million people had used GitHub Copilot alone (Microsoft, quarterly report, 30 July 2025); 36 million new developers joined GitHub in the year to October 2025 (GitHub Octoverse 2025). Anchor for the curve: Gartner, IT Symposium, October 2021 — citizen developers will outnumber professional developers in large companies 4:1.

Who is behind this and why.

„In 2025 I lost my eyesight completely. I thought I would never work with music software again. Then, with my son Dejan, I started describing to an AI what I needed. Seven months later PAPONOX was ready: Apple’s Logic, steered entirely without a screen — built by a blind man, for blind musicians. Then we wanted to share it with the world. And nobody could check it, show it or sell it. That is why this place exists.“

more about Petar +

Petar and Dejan Nikolić vibe-coded software that lets blind people steer Apple’s Logic. With them, Gilda lived through every problem vibe coders run into — and conceived vibe-coding.space from their story. They vibe-coded the basis of the platform and its tools.

Questions about the Vibe Code Checker

Will what I built work online — in real life?

+

Things built with AI often run fine on your own computer and break as soon as real people use them: too many visitors at once, an AI service that is down, a login that lets strangers in. The checker looks for 50 known vibe coding mistakes and 68 security patterns before your users find them.

Does the EU AI Act apply to me?

+

It depends on what your tool does with people. The checker asks you six plain-language questions, sorts your tool into a risk class and lists the duties that land on you — for most small tools that is mainly transparency. The result is an orientation aid, not legal advice.

Is my AI-built app GDPR compliant?

+

The Vibe Code Checker looks at the data-protection side of your project against 22 criteria and shows where personal data is at risk. It does not certify anything: the report is an orientation aid, not legal advice. It tells you what to look at first and what to ask a lawyer.

What does the Vibe Code Checker actually check?

+

Three things: 50 typical vibe-coding failure patterns (security, architecture, interface, product logic, operations), 68 standard security patterns including what an AI agent in your tool can be talked into, and 22 criteria for the EU AI Act and GDPR. You get a report with the most urgent fixes first.

Who is the Vibe Code Checker for?

+

For anyone who builds something with AI — a website, an app, a newsletter, a tool. And for data protection officers and IT teams, and for NGOs whose people build clever solutions without a budget.

Does the checker use AI?

+

No. It is a software tool that works with fixed rules, so the same project always gets the same result — no deviations from run to run.

What happens to my code when I upload it?

+

It stays in Europe: the check runs on servers inside Europe only. Your code is not stored and is not used for anything else.

Is it really free?

+

Yes. The check costs nothing, needs no account and no credit card; for a real check you leave your mail address. The real checker works as shown on this page from 15 October 2026. A re-check of the same project is free for 30 days.

How is it different from SkillSpector?

+

SkillSpector is NVIDIA’s open-source scanner for AI agent skills — a good tool, but you install it yourself from GitHub and run it in a terminal. The Vibe Code Checker needs no installation and works completely online. And it checks what SkillSpector leaves out: whether your thing complies with the GDPR and the EU AI Act.

Questions about the space

What is this place?

+

vibe-coding.space is a place for people who create software by talking to an AI. It follows five steps: build, check, show, connect and sell. You can check what you built for free today; showing, connecting and selling follow soon. Everything is laid out as a map you can walk through.

What is vibe coding?

+

Vibe coding means building software by describing what you want to an AI instead of writing the code yourself. This place is for the people who do that — and for making sure what they build is safe, visible and, in time, sellable.

Who is behind this place?

+

vibe-coding.space is made by Gilda, in Europe, and it is run openly from day one. Legal details and data protection are in the imprint at the bottom of this page.

Can I sell what I built here?

+

Soon. The Market is where vibe coders will be able to share and sell the tools they built. It is not open yet — leave your mail address for the opening and we will tell you when it is.

8. Nichtteilnahme nach Anmeldung (No-Show)

Why are we
doing this?

Because we believe that a new world is built — right now — by new people. The vibe coders.

But what is the situation of vibe coders like today? Their creations are framed as a security risk — and many professional developers don't take them seriously in their domain. #whoisJson

scene 02 · panik, then kalm
Panik.+2,500% more software mistakes, because everything is built with AI agents.gartner, predicts 2026 (3 dec 2025) · software defects by 2028
Kalm.Checked with the Vibe Code Checker.free · no account · EU AI Act, GDPR, 50 failure patterns

Sure, it is truly wise not to ignore the risks and costs of unchecked software — we have a one-click solution for that, by the way. We think it's better to provide vibe coders with the tools they need to make their creations safe, secure and visible — to share or sell on a market-place, which we also have.

scene 03 · why does this matter?

Meet the
new 300 million.

Estimates say that until 2030 there will be 300 million vibe coders actively building solutions, tools and websites with the support of AI.

2025203020 M300 M

Sources and our remark. Start: by July 2025, 20 million people had used GitHub Copilot alone (Microsoft earnings call, 30 July 2025); 36 million new developers joined GitHub in the year to October 2025 (GitHub Octoverse 2025). Anchor for the curve: Gartner IT Symposium, October 2021 — citizen developers to outnumber professional developers 4:1 at large enterprises. The bars between the two ends are our projection, not a measurement. One remark from us: they don't outnumber developers as developers and they don't take their jobs — they enlarge the domains in which code can be used to solve problems: in organisations, in companies, and in families too. That part was not in Gartner's projection.

scene 04 · so

let's shift
perspective.

Vibe coders don't replace software developers — they close the gap between the source of a solution and its coded, manifest form.

Until now, an expert with a problem had two options: live with it — or pay a developer, who builds the way developers build. Today the people who live the problem are able to build the solution. Their knowledge goes straight into the tool. That is why it takes routes no classical developer would take — not because they code better, but because they know better what the situation needs.

How this place
started.

A blind music producer vibe-coded software to steer music software without a screen — and it worked. Then he tried to share it and got buried in reality: legal? secure? data protection? He told Lisa and Json — and together they founded a place to unlock the potential of vibe coders: tools that help people see what needs attention, find support and share what they built with more clarity.

This is also how this space was started. We had a problem. We knew the solution. Now we are sharing it with the world.

We believe in you. Come for the check — stay because you finally found a place made for your whole vibe-coding journey: build, check, show, connect, sell.
